Georgia Pacific (GP), one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of tissue, packaging, paper, pulp, and building products, has awarded MSS Industrial the 2-year security contract for all of their five UK sites.
GP has awarded the security contract to MSS on top of a 12-year long cleaning contract at their Maesteg site, and since have been awarded this contract at all their UK sites.
Jamie Davies, MSS Industrial says, "This contract win comes soon after we have been awarded SIA Approved Contractor Status in security guarding, becoming only the second Welsh company to do so, and certainly reiterates our position as a leading supplier of support services."
Jeff Seaward, Site Services Manager at GP, comments on awarding MSS the national security contract: "We were looking for a company that provides its people good support, listens when we have any complaints, that will look for continuous improvement and would work with us to achieve this.
"Having worked with MSS for a number of years on the national cleaning contract, we have a good insight into their established management structure, which we fully believe will be successfully transferred to the security contract."
