MSS Water provides water treatment and hygiene services (legionella control) to a wide range of blue-chip, private and public sector clients who have complex water systems and challenging multi-site water treatment regimes. This fast-growing, LCA registered division of MSS is supported by a dedicated team of chemists, industry experts, risk assessors, plumbers and engineers.
Legionella Risk Assessments & Control
Our team of experienced risk assessors carry out Legionella risk assessments in full compliance with the HSE’s Approved Code of Practice L8 (ACoP L8) and associated guidance. In addition to risk assessment, we undertake routine control measures including temperature monitoring, descaling, and flushing of infrequently used outlets, supporting our clients in maintaining compliant and safe water systems.
Plumbing & Water System Maintenance
Our qualified plumbers play a vital role in supporting clients with the maintenance of their water systems, carrying out essential tasks that reduce the risk of bacterial growth, including Legionella. Their work ensures systems remain safe, compliant and operationally effective.
In addition to ongoing maintenance, we design and install a wide range of water systems tailored to the specific needs of our diverse client base, ensuring each solution meets regulatory requirements and site-specific demands.
Disinfection & Chemical Dosing
We carry out the disinfection of industrial cooling systems and towers, as well as commercial and domestic water systems, in line with regulatory and manufacturer requirements. Our service includes the provision of appropriate chemical dosing regimes, supported by expert advice on system performance, compliance and ongoing maintenance.
