Consultancy

Our CoCa certified consultants support duty holders to meet the requirements of CAR2012. Through a structured approach they undertake analysis of our clients’ data, systems and practices and provide them with compliant solutions.

Asbestos Surveying & Bulk Sampling

We are UKAS accredited for Identification and Analysis of asbestos. We deploy BOHS certified surveyors and to our client sites and premises to provide surveys and consultancy. We also have an asbestos bulk laboratory located at our HQ.

Training

MSS is a UKATA accredited training provider, with high specification training facilities and experienced asbestos trainers. We are also experienced in writing bespoke courses for our clients to ensure that their training needs are met.

How to manage asbestos risks now and for the future

Darren Phelan of MSS Consulting explores the ongoing issue of asbestos in school buildings and what can be done to tackle it.

I was appointed as an asbestos co-ordinator in Linc-Cymru last year without any knowledge of asbestos whatsoever. However, Linc paid MSS to provide me with bespoke training and knowledge for me to competent enough to pick up all tasks that came under me on the Asbestos Management Plan. MSS delivered Asbestos awareness, Duty to Manage and 121 training every Tuesday. MSS also provided me with extra training onsite to help me complete my P402 & P405 exams. The team are extremely helpful and always pick up the phone to answer any queries I may have. The Head of Health of safety now considers me an asbestos specialist for Linc and I wouldn’t have gotten this far without the help from MSS.
