MSS deliver the annual asbestos awareness and non-licensed tasks training for a large water utility company. We have worked closely with our client to tailor the training to their specific requirements.
The training has been designed for client staff who undertake planned work with asbestos which does not require a license. Non-Licenced Tasks training is delivered in strict accordance with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012; Regulation 10 Information Instruction and Training and the Approved Code of Practice and Guidance as laid out in L143 Managing and Working with Asbestos. Our training focuses specifically on the tasks staff come across in their daily work for example the safe removal of asbestos gaskets and asbestos fuse inserts / cartridges. The training utilises case studies and examples directly taken from our clients portfolio to assist with familiarity and usability amongst the candidates.
We believe that people learn best by doing and we will strive to make sure that each session is delivered in an interactive and imaginative way, testing knowledge as we go through the course. We will include an interactive quiz section, scenarios for discussion based on our clients assets and work tasks. We show the HSE Video (Hidden Killer) during the course. During the pandemic we successfully moved all our training online.
